Tour Description
To make full use of your Luxury Short Stay Safari it is best to fly overnight to arrive in Johannesburg early in the morning.
You then connect on your mid-morning flight from Johannesburg to Kasane in Botswana located at the Northwest of the amazing Okavango Delta. In Kasane, you connect directly on your special Charter Flight to the private landing strip at Zarafa Camp arriving mid-afternoon.
After the long flights, you will be happy to unpack in your Luxurious Tent and freshen up before you meet for the expansive High Tea. This is where you will meet your Lodge Support Team and most importantly, your highly experienced Safari Ranger who will share his vast knowledge of the beautiful wildlife and enhance your Safari experience. Your Ranger will then take you out on your first Game Drive to see the many wild animals and birds in their natural habitat.
You return in the evening after sunset to enjoy an expansive dinner before you turn in for a well-deserved rest in your luxury air-conditioned tent that is also suitably warmed during the cool winter months.
Today you will receive an early morning call with your favourite hot or cold beverage in preparation for your early morning Game Drive with your Ranger.
You will return in time for a large breakfast selection laid out on the viewing deck. Enjoy breakfast while the animals go about their business mere meters away from your breakfast table.
You may consider a Guided Walk with your Ranger before your lunch and possible a short siesta after lunch.
You meet for High Tea late in the afternoon and then join your Ranger for the afternoon / evening Game Drive returning after sunset for a well deserved dinner and rest in your luxurious tent.
After your early morning call and having enjoyed your favourite beverage you will join your Ranger for the last Morning Game Drive on the amazing Selinda Reserve.
You return in time for your amazing Breakfast Buffet after which you will pack your bags and say your farewells to the highly professional Zarafa Camp Crew. Take the short drive to the airstrip and board your very short charter flight to the exclusive Duba Plains Tented Camp.
Your level of amazing luxury does not change and the views over the Okavango Delta from your luxury tent are absolutely stunning.
Unpack your bags and enjoy a wonderful lunch before relaxing on your private deck to watch nature at its best. You will meet your Ranger during High Tea later in the afternoon before going out on your Game Drive on the spectacular Duba Plains Private Reserve.
You return again in time for a scrumptious dinner served on the deck (weather permitting) before retiring to your luxurious bed.
You will receive your early morning call with your favourite beverage served and then you meet your Ranger for the early morning Game Drive returning in time for a fantastic breakfast.
The crew at Duba Plains Camp together with your Ranger will ensure that you are entertained through out the day breaking only to enjoy a great lunch set out on the viewing deck.
After a short siesta you will join your Ranger again for the afternoon Game Drive returning in time for your dinner.
You may enjoy your last Game Drive this morning with your Ranger or you may choose to enjoy the early morning wildlife activity from the viewing deck at your luxury tent.
After your scrumptious breakfast you will pack up and say your fond farewells to the Duba Plains Crew before transfering to the airstrip for your charter flight to Kasane Airport. At Kasane you will connect to the scheduled flight to Johannesburg placing you at OR Tambo International Airport by mid-afternoon to connect to your onward international flight.
