JOHANNESBURG

South Africa’s largest city and economic hub is the natural arrival point for the tournament. Johannesburg offers a lively mix of restaurants, shopping and culture, along with important heritage sites such as the Apartheid Museum and Soweto. Your stay is based in a well-located luxury hotel convenient for the city’s attractions and match venues.

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK - ZIMBABWE

Zimbabwe’s largest national park is famous for its huge elephant herds, which gather at waterholes in great numbers, particularly in the drier months. The park also supports lion, leopard, wild dog, buffalo, giraffe and sable antelope, along with more than 400 bird species. Accommodation is in a safari lodge on a full board basis, with game viewing across the eastern section of the park.

VICTORIA FALLS - ZIMBABWE

On the Zimbabwean side of the Zambezi River, the town of Victoria Falls offers some of the most complete views of the falls, with a rainforest walking trail leading to viewpoints along the length of the gorge. The area is a playground of activities – sunset cruises on the Zambezi, helicopter flights, white-water rafting, bungee jumping and gorge swings – with plenty of time to explore at leisure and follow the cricket.

SOUTHERN KRUGER

The southern Kruger National Park is one of the most rewarding game viewing regions in Africa, with dense populations of the Big Five and a remarkable variety of other wildlife and birdlife. A safari lodge stay here brings you close to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino, with guided game drives into the surrounding bush.

FRANSCHHOEK

Set in a valley ringed by mountains, Franschhoek is the culinary heart of the Cape Winelands, with historic wine estates, acclaimed restaurants and Huguenot heritage. It is the perfect place to slow down between matches with wine tastings, fine dining and relaxed spa time.

CAPE TOWN

Framed by Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Town combines beaches, heritage sites and a vibrant waterfront with one of the most scenic cricket settings in the world. Highlights include Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, the penguins of Boulders Beach and Robben Island, with free time to explore the city at leisure.

SWAKOPMUND - NAMIBIA

Where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, Swakopmund is known for its German colonial architecture, cool sea air and towering dunes. The surrounding area offers dune excursions, quad biking, sandboarding and marine cruises in nearby Walvis Bay.

WINDHOEK - NAMIBIA

Namibia’s compact capital sits in the central highlands and brings the journey to a close. Windhoek blends colonial landmarks with a relaxed modern city, and your resort stay offers a comfortable base before your onward flight home.
