This is your opportunity to add this amazing experience to your travels around Southern Africa whether it be for leisure or business travel. This three-night stay at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort on the Zambian side of the World Heritage Site of Victoria Falls. As a resident at this resort, you will enjoy direct access to view this spectacular waterfall as many times as you like.
Up to 8000 tons of water per second cascades into the deep Batoka Gorge during the peak flood season. If you are interested in photography this will be a great advantage as you may use your direct access to get the best images when the light is at its best.
You will enjoy guided tours of Victoria Falls and Mukuni Village as well as a grand Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River in true colonial style. These tours are included on this tour, however, you have sufficient time to partake in any of the great activities on offer at Victoria Falls or you may choose to enjoy the great facilities at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort.
After all this excitement you are transferred back to Livingstone Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg where this extension tour ends.

Tour Description(Itinerary)

VICTORIA FALLS - ZAMBIA

Situated on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border along the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls is experienced from the Zambian side within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where walkways trace the cliff edge above a vast basalt gorge. Knife Edge Bridge brings visitors into the spray for close views of the Main Falls and the Eastern Cataract, while Rainbow Falls, the highest section, often reveals shifting arcs of colour in the mist. The Boiling Pot viewpoint looks directly into the whirlpool where the river is forced into the Batoka Gorge, and boat access reaches Livingstone Island and the seasonal Devil’s Pool during low water.

A guided tour of the falls, a visit to Mukuni Village and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi in true colonial style are included, with ample free time to enjoy the many other activities on offer – white-water rafting, kayaking, ziplining, bungee jumping, helicopter flights and game viewing along the river – or simply to relax at the resort.

The extension ends with a transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.
