Tour Description
You will be met at the Jomo Kenyata International Airport in Nairobi by our representative who will transfer you to the Wilson Regional Airport located in the city of Nairobi.
Here you will board your flight to Samburu National Reserve located to the north of Mount Kenya. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be transferred to the Saruni Samburu to check in to your luxury villa and have a light lunch.
At around mid-afternoon, you will meet your guide over the afternoon coffee and snacks and then you will depart for your first Game Drive to view the wildlife. You return at sunset to have dinner and relax for the evening.
Today you will explore the wildlife in Samburu and the adjoining Buffalo Springs National Park.
You will do early morning and a late afternoon Game Drives and have time during the day to enjoy the facilities at Saruni Samburu. You may also arrange a guided bush walk with your guide.
You may continue to enjoy the wildlife viewing in Samburu National Reserve and go in search of the unique species found in this area such as the beautiful Grevy's Zebra and Gerenuk Antelope.
This morning you will have an early breakfast and check out of your villa in preparation for the transfer to the airstrip where you will board your flight to the Masai Mara.
Your flight goes via the Nanyuki Airstrip located close to Mount Kenya and this affords you amazing views of the highest mountain in Kenya. From Nanyuki, the flight heads south towards the Masai mara and lands at Cottars Camp private airstrip.
The crew from the camp will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to Cottars Camp to check-in and have a light lunch.
In the afternoon you will do the first Game Drive in the animal-rich Ol Derkesi Community Conservancy area adjoining the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Your Guides will take you out on a morning and afternoon Game Drive to view the wildlife on the Masai Mara.
Wildlife viewing may be extended to a full-day Game Drive with a picnic lunch that you may enjoy on the plains seated in the shade of an Acacia Tree.
This morning you say farewell to the staff at Cottars Camp and take the transfer to the airfield where you will board your flight to Ukunda Airstrip near the Indian Ocean coast.
The staff from Kinondo Kwetu will meet you and transfer you the short distance to the resort. Check in to your Mama Taa Villa suite and get ready for some serious relaxation after the early morning calls in the wildlife areas.
You have complimentary access to a variety of sports equipment and water-sports equipment with which you may enjoy the warm Indian Ocean water.
The resort is located away from the tourist areas of Diani Beach and it is super peaceful and uncrowded. The perfect location to unwind and relax whether it be on the beach or at the large swimming pool.
Check out after breakfast and the staff will transfer you to the Moi International Airport where you will board your final included flight back to Nairobi where the Safari ends.
