Check in to your luxury suite and enjoy a late lunch. You have a little time to explore the lodge and surroundings before meeting in the afternoon for coffee and cookies. Your Ranger will take you out on your first Game Drive to view the wild animals in their natural habitat.
You return at sunset to relax and have dinner. The dinner venue changes according to the weather and you may well be dining in the Boma under the starry African sky.
You will rise early today to enjoy some coffee and rusks ( a South African favourite) before departing with your Ranger for the morning Game Drive to find the animals.
You will return to have a great breakfast. You now have time to relax around the pool.
Lunch is served around midday and you meet again later in the afternoon to go out on the afternoon Game Drive with your Ranger.
You return in time for your scrumptious dinner and you may arrange to do some stargazing with your Ranger.
After your early morning coffee (don't forget the rusks) your Ranger will take you on the morning Game Drive. Depending on the season, animal movements, and weather conditions, your Ranger may decide to extend the Game Drive to give you the best possible wildlife viewing opportunities.
Return to the Lodge for another great breakfast and you could arrange with your Ranger to do a Bush Walk to explore the wildlife on foot returning in time for lunch.
This afternoon you go out again to view the beautiful wild animals and birds.
You will enjoy your last early morning Game Drive with your Ranger this morning.
After breakfast you may check out and pack your bags in preparation for the transfer to the airport later in the morning.
Fly directly to Cape Town where you will be met by your Safari Director who will transfer you to the Vineyard Hotel set in a stunning garden location at the foot of the Table Mountain Range. Your Safari Director will assist with your check in to your suite and brief you on the dining options available as well as the guided activities and tour program for the coming days.
After a leisurely breakfast you will meet your Safari Director for a full day tour around the spectacular Cape Peninsula.
The first stop will be for the great view over Sunrise Beach which attracts large numbers of surfers every day. We continue past the beautiful Kalk Bay fishing harbour to Simonstown which is South Africa's only naval port.
Learn about the famous Royal Navy recruit, a dog named Just Nuisance, before moving along to Boulders Beach where we visit the breeding colony of African Penguins.
From here we continue on to Cape Point National Park where we visit the "Old Lighthouse" to enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean coastline. Our journey continues over the beautiful and scenic Chapmans Peak Drive through Hout Bay before we cross over the mountain into Constantia, the oldest wine region in South Africa.
We end the eventful day back at your hotel in the late afternoon.
We depart after breakfast to explore the beautiful Cape Winelands. We start with a Cellar Tour in a century old wine cellar that covers approximately 50 acres of ground followed by your first tasting of some award winning wines.
Our next stop is at Fairview Wine Estate where we enjoy a Wine & Cheese Pairing. All the wines and cheese varieties are created and manufactured on the estate. There is the opportunity to enjoy a lunch in the Goatshed Bistro should you still need a bite to eat after all the wine and cheese at the pairing.
We continue on to Simonsig Wine Estate for our last wine tasting of the day before heading in to the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for you to explore some opportunities of retail therapy.
Tonight you may dine at any one of the fine restaurants dotted around the V&A Waterfront as your Safari Director will be available to transfer you back to your hotel at around 21h00.
