Exploring Cape Town
Prepare for your included excursion this afternoon to ascend Table Mountain in the Cableway – Weather permitting.
Enjoy a full-day Private Guided Cape Peninsula Tour and explore the Cape of Good Hope.
On this tour, we follow the scenic route along the Atlantic Ocean coastline and over the legendary Chapmans Peak Drive. We travel further and visit Cape Point Nature Reserve and The Cape of Good Hope.
Penguins at Boulders Beach
From here it is a short drive along the False Bay shoreline to Boulders Beach. We drive to go and see the African Penguins at Boulders Beach Penguin Colony. You will also enjoy a three-course lunch at the nearby restaurant which is included today.
Following our lunch, we drive across the peninsula to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for some retail therapy. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy an early dinner at one of the many great restaurants in the complex before returning to your hotel.
Cape Winelands
The beautiful Cape Winelands is a mere 30-minute scenic drive from downtown Cape Town. During the day we explore the sights of two historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
On this Tour of Cape Winelands, we visit three wine regions and taste the award-winning wines on offer. End the day with a special wine pairing of eight estate wines and cheese created on the wine estate.
Greater Kruger National Park
We leave Cape Town today and depart at mid-morning from Cape Town International Airport and fly directly into the greater Kruger National Park area.
Your dedicated Ranger will meet you at the airport and drive the short distance to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve or the Lion Sands Reserve where you check in at the luxurious lodge. The accommodation is a 2 nights stay at Full Board in a luxury, free-standing Chalets with your own private plunge pool on the deck.
Sabi Sands Game Reserve
High tea is served in the afternoon and then you depart on the Safari Game Drive with your dedicated Ranger and Tracker returning after sunset.
The included activities are an early morning safari game drive of approximately three hours to view the wildlife in their natural habitat, and returning to the lodge for a scrumptious breakfast at around 09:00.
Then you have some free time during the day to relax and enjoy the natural environment around the lodge. You may be fortunate to see the Buffalo and Elephant come to drink at the river in front of your chalet.
Following high tea in the afternoon, you depart on the evening safari game drive with your dedicated Ranger and Tracker returning after sunset.
Livingstone and the Zambezi River
After breakfast on day six, you transfer to the airport for your flight to Zambia arriving in Livingstone. You will be transferred to the luxurious hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River for your luxurious two-night stay. Take in the beauty of the Zambezi River while you relax for the afternoon and enjoy the resort facilities.
Activities in Livingstone and Victoria Falls
Day seven is an exciting and eventful day exploring some of the many great activities around Victoria Falls. After a leisurely breakfast, you will meet your Zambian Guide for an included walking tour of Victoria Falls.
Following the tour of the falls, you may select and do a few optional activities. These include visiting Mukuni Village where you will learn about the Zambian culture and crafts. Then add a visit to the Livingstone Museum to learn about the amazing work of Sir David Livingstone and the courageous exploits of his servants Sussi & Chuma.
Sunset cruise on the Zambezi River
At mid-afternoon you will be picked up at the hotel for your three-hour included Sunset Cruise on board a beautiful river cruise boat and you return to the hotel for a late dinner.
From Victoria Falls you travel upstream on day nine and cross the Zambezi River over the Kazungula Bridge and border to enter Botswana. This is also the only place in the World where four countries meet.
Chobe National Park in Botswana
Check in at a beautiful lodge located in Chobe National Park on the banks of the Chobe River for a one-night stay. Then prepare for the best possible afternoon of wildlife viewing from the very large boat on the Chobe River while enjoying sundowners. After the spectacular game viewing, you return to the Lodge for your expansive included buffet dinner.
It is now time to explore the largest inland delta in the world but first, you can do an early morning safari game Drive. The game drive commences at sunrise on four-wheel-drive safari vehicles in the Chobe National Park. You return to the Lodge for breakfast before checking out.
Okavango Delta in Botswana
At around mid-day, you will be transferred from the Lodge to Kasane Airport for your 90-minute flight into the Okavango Delta. This World Heritage Site can measure up to 15000 square kilometers of waterways at peak flood. You land on the private airstrip and the staff of your Delta Lodge will meet you and take you the short distance to your luxury accommodation.
Safari Game Drive in Okavango Delta
This is a two-night stay at Full Board and all activities are included. The Lodge Manager will explain the included activities available as these will change according to the water levels in the flood plains. You will also experience the traditional fisherman’s transport, the Mokoro dugout canoe as well as nature walks and Safari Game Drive.
On your last day on Safari, you will enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then check out of your tents. The hotel crew will transfer you the short distance to the private landing strip for your charter flight to Maun International Airport. Lastly, you will connect with your flight to Johannesburg.
