Experience the beautiful “Mother City” Cape Town, the majestic Table Mountain and beautiful Cape Winelands then on to the amazing Victoria Falls and ending in the vast inland delta, The Okavango Delta.
Day 1 – Fly directly to Cape Town International Airport.
Meet the representative from Africa’s Child Safaris and transfer to the luxurious Cellars Hohenhort Hotel (or similar) in the oldest wine region of South Africa, Constantia. This is a 3 night stay with breakfast included.
Prepare for your included excursion to ascend Table Mountain in the late afternoon. Weather permitting.
Day 2 – A full day Private Tour around the Cape Peninsula and explore the Cape of Good Hope.
We follow the scenic Chapmans Peak drive to visit Cape Point Nature Reserve and The Cape of Good Hope.
A short drive along the False Bay shoreline takes us to African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Your three course lunch at Seaforth Restaurant is included today.
Following our lunch we drive across the peninsula to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for some retail therapy and you have the opportunity to enjoy an early dinner at one of the great restaurants in the complex before returning to your hotel.
Day 3 – Cape Winelands full day tour.
The Cape Winelands is a mere 30 minutes’ scenic drive from downtown Cape Town. We explore the sights of two historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
We visit three wine regions and taste the award winning wines on offer end the day with a Master Wine Cheese pairing of eight estate wines and cheese created on the wine estate in the Paarl wine region.
Day 4 – Flight from Cape Town to Livingstone, Zambia
This will be an ealy start for your transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and on to Zambia.
Arrive in Livingstone and you will be transferred to the luxurious Royal Livingstone Hotel for your two night stay in the colonial splendour of the Royal Livingstone Hotel. Take in the beauty of the Zambezi River while you relax for the afternoon and enjoy the colonial facilities of the “The Royal”.
Day 5 – Explore Victoria Falls
After a leisurely breakfast you will meet your Zambian Guide who will take you on an included walking tour of Victoria Falls.
You have time during the day to do a few optional activities such as visiting Mukuni Village where you will learn about the Zambian culture and crafts,and you can go on to visit the Livingstone Museum to learn about the amazing work of Sir David Livingstone and the courageous exploits of his servants Sussi &Chuma.
At mid-afternoon you will be collected for your included Sunset Cruise on board the Zambezi Queen or Princess that lasts three hours till after sunset.
Day 6 – Transfer by road to Botswana
You will be collected from your hotel after breakfast and transferred to Kazungula border where you will cross the mighty Zambezi River by ferry. This is the only place in the World where 4 countries meet.
Check in at Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar) for a one night stay and prepare for the best possible afternoon of wildlife viewing from the very large Fish Eagle boat on the Chobe River while enjoying sundowners.
After the game viewing, return to the Lodge for your expansive included buffet dinner.
Day 7 & 8 – Early morning Game Drive and Flight to the Delta
An early morning rise for a game Drive at sunrise on four wheel drive safari Vehicles in the Chobe National park. Return to the Lodge for breakfast before checking out.
At around mid-day, you will betransfered from the Lodge to Kasane Airport for your 1 ½ hour flight into the very large inland delta, the Okavango Delta which could measure up to 15000 KM square of waterways at peak flood. Land on the private airstrip and the staff of your Delta Lodge, The Moremi Crossing, will meet you and take you the short distance to your luxury accommodation. This is a two night stay at Full Board and all activities are included. You will experience the local fisherman’s transport, the Mokoro dugout canoe as well as nature walks and game viewing.
Day 9 – Flight from Moremi Crossing to Maun and onwards to Johannesburg
After a leisurely breakfast you will check out and be transferred the short distance to the private landing strip for your flight to Maun where you will connect with your Flight to Johannesburg.
